Meadow Lane to Ban Use of the Street Name "Balls Ferry Road"

Citing snickering and incessant laughter from both students and teachers alike, the authorities at Meadow Lane have banned the use of "Balls Ferry Road" while attending class.  In a press release they had this to say: "While we think it's important that children be able to read street signs and recite them back, when doing so causes them to literally roll on the floor laughing out loud, it's a disturbance to the rest of the class.  And we really wish our teachers would do a better job stifling their laughter too."

This isn't the first time such a problem has arisen at Meadow Lane.  Several years ago fits of hysterical laughter could be heard all the way to Cottonwood when then councilman Dick Dickerson introduced himself to the school.
